It is the biggest networking event for medical students, residents, fellow, and attendings from around the world! The event is produced to encourage all attendees (1500+ from just the NYC Event) to network with one another and cultivate new personal and professional relationships at all levels of medical education. To that end, we will include guest speakers representing the largest organizations and companies supporting IMGs as they seek residency in the US.
Dr. Sebastian Arruarana started The IMG Event™ during the summer of 2021 with the intent to bring support and sense of family to the international community. He wanted to make every IMG feel connected and let them know that no one is alone in this journey. The purpose of The IMG Event is to network, support each other, meet colleagues, and study partners who are all along the same journey. We want to provide different opportunities and guide students on how to pursue their pathway to residency.
Any medical student or graduate who wants to pursue a residency in the United States can attend our events.
